Problem/Requirements:

  • In cases of grid overload, power grid operators maintain the stability of the power grid by remotely controlling and temporarily regulating the output of individual wind, biogas, or solar power plants.

  • Power plant operators are eligible to receive financial compensation for the duration in which their plants were downregulated and supplied reduced electricity to the grid. This compensation is provided to offset the impact of the temporary reduction in output.

  • Many plant operators choose to outsource the process of feed-in management, also known as the regulation of power plant output, to dedicated service providers. These service providers handle the coordination and implementation of the downregulation and manage the associated financial compensation processes on behalf of the plant operators.

Solution:

  • Web application that offers comprehensive functionality for service providers to handle all aspects of feed-in management. This application will facilitate the coordination and management of power plant output regulation, including the handling of financial compensation processes, ensuring efficient and streamlined operations for service providers.

  • Robust customer management system within the web application, providing the capability to maintain various customer data, contract data, connection data, power plant data, and other relevant information. This comprehensive system will enable efficient management of customer-related information, enhancing operational efficiency and facilitating effective communication and coordination with customers.

  • Graphical evaluation feature within the web application to visualize the quantities of electricity fed into the grid and the duration of outages resulting from the regulatory measures taken. This graphical representation will offer a clear overview and facilitate analysis of the power plant's performance and the impact of feed-in management actions.

  • Clear display of all messages sent to and received from the network operator, ensuring transparent and organized communication tracking. This feature enables users to easily monitor the message exchange and ensures effective collaboration with the network operator.
